The entrants are the five piece group Uni5, three piece group Miss Fitz, Karen Harding, Esma Akkilic, Alexis Gerred, and Josh Dubovie. The solo performers are all between the ages of 17 and 20.
The judges will be led by Pete Waterman who is in charge of producing and writing the winning entry for Eurovision this year. Waterman stated that they have the acts and the song and now it is entirely up to the public.
Also on the panel of judges are Jade Ewen from Sugababes and Bruno Toniolo from Strictly Come Dancing.
After the six entrants perform live on the BBC One Show next week Watermen will narrow the crowd down to three acts who will then be judged by the public who get the chance to vote for their favourite.
The wining act will get the chance to prepare for Eurovision with the aid of music producer Mike Stock and Waterman who worked together in the eighties in the company Stock Aitken and Waterman is also known for starting the careers of many pop stars including Kylie Minogue.
Last year Jane Ewen represented the UK and came in 5th place with her performance ‘It’s My Time.’
